Job Description

The Business Unit Manager is responsible for supporting business management and development initiatives for the Commodities business within Markets and Securities Services. The team drives the overall governance, controls and compliance activities of the business as wall as manages expense optimization, and enables growth into new new products. Tasks may include facilitating internal audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Unit Manager coordinates and manages activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs and ad hoc projects as necessary. **Responsibilities:** + Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams + Work closely with management to support business goals, and collaborate cross functional teams including Sales, Trading, Product Control, Operations, Technology, and Compliance. + Manage financial control by managing expenses such as market data or other Commodity vendor related contracts where needed + Support of business reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. + Participate and/or lead various projects related to the long term transformation of each of the businesses and the technical platforms on which they run + Manage and improve business metrics and key performance indicators + Initiate and lead short, medium and long term projects to achieve the business objectives of the global management team. Projects may be related to control initiatives, expense reduction or process improvement. + Assist in internal audit reviews, providing materials and address concerns arising from these reviews + Ensure the business is run in strict compliance with all internal and regulatory standards + Assist in managing and providing support for Commodity governance forums and initiatives **Qualifications:** + Experience in financial services preferred + Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders + Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures + Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments + Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education:** + Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience ----- Grade :All Job Level - All Job FunctionsAll Job Level - All Job Functions - GB ----- Time Type :Full time ----- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
