The role is a newly created role within the Finance team to take control of our overall Procurement strategy, current relationships/spend. This is a stand alone role and will suit someone who can think strategically, whilst still wanting to be involved in the day to day managing of procurement. You will be responsible for all technical procurement, achieving maximum value for all current and future relationships, the overall procurement strategy for Gamesys and identifying and evolving best practice moving forward. You will need to be comfortable with B2B outsourcing, procuring large in-house tech, managing 3rd party platforms and annual audits of company spend. Key Duties and Responsibilities * Create and enforce compliance with procurement policies whilst retaining agile business culture * Create and improve best-practice based procurement processes (e.g. leadership of high-value/strategic sourcing efforts) * Own the future development around procurement, in particular tooling * Assist and advise internal stakeholders to secure advantageous terms. Assistance includes tendering, negotiation, contract award and management, supply chain engagement, stakeholder engagement and ongoing contract management. * Lead on large procurement and secure cost savings in sole source situations * Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements * Review requested purchases for compliance with the procurement policy and prudent business practices, and approve or decline them * Provide procurement training and develop training materials * Provide reports on procurement to management including category, department and location * Must have a consistent of assessing and approaching risk Candidate Profile: * Skilled in negotiating and networking * In depth understanding of technology sourcing * Must have experience with tenders * Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as knowing the market * Experience in researching, collecting, analysing and using data in decision making * Able to work effectively in compliance with internal policies and external constraints * Organised; strong project management ability; self-directed on work initiatives; strong attention to detail * Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines * Collaborative, collegial working style * Written and spoken communication in English * Minimum 3 years' experience in a procurement and sourcing role
