You leverage product resources to elevate technical product knowledge, and you share your knowledge with other members of the team to elevate the level of technical education on the floor every day. Where you spend your time On the floor & in the back of house the mission of an inventory educator (the role) The inventory educator position will assist the Key Leader / Managers in leading many inventory-related tasks. Key duties will include leading a team to process inventory when the store is closed and support guest experience via back-of-house management on the floor in guest interaction. a day in the life of Inventory Educator (the tasks) you thrive in a fast paced, and diverse work environment that includes but not limited to: shipping/receiving processes, inventory processing, back room management, restocking possess the agility to jump out front of house to connect and provide amazing guest experience during store hours. Your ability to keep the up the pace a keen sense of urgency that can last into the night and early morning, makes you perfect for outside of retail hours inventory shifts. past work experience allows you to help lead a team of expeditors and/or educators to process inventory when the store is closed lead them through Standard Operating Practices communicates with Visual Merch lead set up merch team for success before large product drops easily transitions from one work environment seamlessly to be best in the world at guest experience at the drop of a hat Inventory Educator must have's (the knowledge, skills and qualifications) looking for 1 year of prior inventory processing or expeditor experience excellent team player and ability to work independently upbeat, optimistic, passionate friendly and authentic! responsible and dependable proactive and solution-oriented innovative and insightful excellent communication skills - verbal and written extraordinary guest interaction, organizational and time management skills ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback strong problem solving and decision-making skills Inventory Educators working day (the hours) In peak season, half of the time could be likely spent early/late shifts processing boxes and setting up the store then switching gears for a partial or full floor shift as the business requires. Weekday evening to night shifts and possible early morning one weekend shift.
