Store Inventory Lead (SIL) Who You Are: Store Inventory Lead (SIL) Who Your Leader is: Store Manager/ Assistant Manager Where you spend your time: On the floor & in the back of house The mission of a SIL (a role): The SIL is the leader of their store and will manage all inventory-related tasks. Key duties will include leading a team of process inventory with the store, supporting with product education, communication and sell-through strategy. You are responsible for ensuring our inventory is processed quickly and efficiently. Key duties include receiving shipments, processing inventory, restocking the floor and supporting with sell-through strategy. As the SIL, you are the inventory expert for your store. A day in a life of SIL (the tasks): Owns back-of-house operations in their store, including but not limited to: shipping/ receiving processes, inventory processing, back room management Leads the store on replenishment during the day Receives and processes inventory and supports with other inventory-related tasks Assists in preparing the store for the day including: replenishing garment styles and other merchandise by color, size, and quantity requirements; folding, sizing, and merchandising as required Leads a team of expeditors and /or educators to process inventory when the store is closed Communicates and strategizes with management team and merchandising team on sell-through strategies Supports with product education and product enrollment ensuring that the entire team is loop in on new product arrivals Gives input on scheduling for the expeditor team, works hand-in-hand with Store Manager as they create the store schedule; holds weekly touch bases with the Store Manager Completes other additional projects as required or by request, under the direction of the Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Store Inventory SIL must have's (the knowledge, skills and qualifications): 1-2 years of experience in the Key Leader position Extraordinary proven leadership capabilities Excellent team player and ability to work independently Upbeat, optimistic, passionate, friendly and authentic Responsible and dependable Proactive and solution-oriented Innovate and insightful Excellent communication skills- verbal and written Extraordinary gust interaction, organizational and time management skills Ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback Strong problem solving and decision-making skills One year's work experience in retail sales- preferred Completion of post-secondary education- preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SIL working day (the hours): During non-peak inventory times, the SIL may work a combination of floor shifts and off-floor floor shifts. In Peak season, the majority of the SIL shifts may be used to support with off-floor responsibilities. A portion of all SIL hours will be worked when the store is closed to support with efficient inventory processing Shift times will vary by store depending on store volume and availability
