Make it mean something at iManage. Being a Senior Pre-Sales Consulant at iManage means? You will join a vibrant and ambitious community of global pre-sales specialists responsible for the technical elements of the iManage sales cycle. The successful applicant will be able to evidence commercial acumen as well as a deep technical understanding of themes and concepts prevalent in modern corporate technology strategies. This position will work closely with global internal iManage teams such as Product Management,Engineering, Cloud Operations, Professional Services, Channel Management, Account Managementand Support teams. We are happy for this role to be based in either the UK or Barcelona, Although the role will require extensive travel across Europe, with occasional travel to the US. We are looking for bright, motivated ?can do? candidates in this high energy role. Responsibilities + Manage the technical customer pre-sale experience from lead inception, to successful Sale. + Respond to all key technical deliverables of the sales cycles i.e. RFPs, RFIs, Security Questionnaires, Demos, POCs, Integration solutioning. + Engage with technical equivalents (Architects, Network Admins, CIOs, CTOs, Programme Managers) in customers and prospects to ensure technical validation is assured. + Demonstration of value of core software platforms. + Presentation of key technical components/architecture of software platforms. + Presentation of core cloud concepts, security principles and architectures. + Ability to present comfortably to small (1) and large audiences (100s), varying in technical ability. + Attend and demonstrate iManage solutions at field events, such as conferences and trade shows. + Manage existing customer knowledge shares via a number of channels including face to face, webinar, blogging, mailshot, white-papers. + Develop and demonstrate thought leadership in key verticals and product solutions. + To contribute to product roadmap with new ideas and field feedback. + Perform regular channel enablement for all our EMEA partners. Requirements + Significant experience managing software projects or proven presales track record. + Good technical understanding of Microsoft and Open Source platforms. + Familiarity with some of the following: + 1 programming/scripting language ? C, Python, Javascript, Java, .Net, Php, + Powershell etc + Operating Systems (Windows and/or Linux) + Databases (MS SQL, NoSQL, MySQL etc) + Messaging systems (Exchange, Gmail and/or Domino) + Networking + Storage + Security + SaaS/PaaS implementation cycles. + Excellent business communication, organizational and project management skillset. + Excellent public presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications (but not required) + Use of Salesforce and ticketing systems + A knowledgeable understanding of the legal sector, accounting sector, financial services, insurance.
