Have you acquired an advanced level of transact SQL language skills and relational database skills? Are you confident in your experience in Microsoft BI platforms, Data Warehouse development and maintenance life cycle? We are recruiting for experienced Senior BI Developers to join our Business Intelligence team whose skills pan across the BI spectrum. Your involvement will include the architecting, design and control of a significant BI area in addition to the facilitation, capture, analysis and challenge of business intelligence requirements; documenting and discussing potential solutions; extensive liaison with both internal and external stakeholders; creating reports, extracts and data transformation processes; and being responsible for ensuring that projects deliver business intelligence and reporting to meet agreed and signed-off requirements. You will also need to support the preparation and execution of reporting requirements for Business As Usual activities. You will be required to work flexibly in a small, multi-skilled team and ensure the delivery of a varied workload in an environment which is vibrant and agile. You will be required to lead in technical knowledge and by personal example. You will also be required to provide overnight second line on-call support on a rota basis. The position attracts a competitive salary and benefits including 25 days holiday, non-contributory cover for Life Assurance of up to 3 times basic salary and a performance related bonus up to 20% of salary, based upon achieving company budgets and targets. Key aspects and requirements of the role include: + Experience of architecting, designing and technical leadership in the finance area + Detailed experience / knowledge of data warehouse and analytics tools + Experience of leading in technical knowledge and by personal example + Experience of using complex SQL to extract, manipulate and transform data + Experience of providing requirements analysis, documentation, development, delivery and maintenance of business intelligence and reports + Create & maintain data reporting & transformation process documentation and supporting reference material + A detailed understanding of mortgages and finance and their respective operation + An ability to negotiate and liaise with stakeholders at all levels within organisations + Ability to work under pressure and deliver within challenging timescales If you believe you have the necessary skills to undertake this position, please apply A credit check and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required for this post.
