Job Description
Title: Risk Practitioner Sellafield Limited has identified the need for project and programme management support under a collaborative partnership model, to deliver major projects across the Sellafield Decommissioning Programme. This is a high profile, nationally significant, multi billion pound project, this phase of which will run for the next 20 years. KBR is the Integration Partner responsible for the provision of project management and related services to integrate and delivery major projects. Role Reporting to the Project Risk Manager, the Risk Practitioner will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the PPP risk management plan. This role will be split between Cumbria and Warrington in the first instance but will probably migrate to Cumbria in the medium term. Main Responsibilities * Supporting the Project Risk Manager in the maintenance of the Project Risk Management Plan, the Risk Register and the Project Risk Statistical Model - Monitoring, co-ordinating and reporting all requests for project and external contingency funding * Working with the PPP Head of Risk, PPP Risk management team and Aligned Delivery Teams (ADT's) on all aspects of Project Risk Management * Support to, or deputising for the Project Risk Manager Facilitating / co-facilitating Project risk management workshops * Facilitate development, implementation and tracking of mitigation actions * Support the Project Risk Manager in the provision of risk management monthly and weekly reports * Assist in the development of risk management presentations Qualifications & Experience - Evidence of success in Higher Education and relevant transferable skills * Advanced PRA Pertmaster modelling expertise is essential * Excellent knowledge of risk management standards, process and techniques * Exposure to risk, engineering and commercial aspects of major civil infrastructure projects * Ability to effectively identify, analyse and recommend risk mitigation actions * Experienced user of MS Office and risk management software * Previous experience in project risk management essential * Excellent report writing skills What We Have to Offer * 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays * Private Healthcare * Life Assurance * Pension scheme * Personal Accident Cover * Income Protection Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 KBR is a global provider of differentiated professional services and technologies across the asset and program lifecycle within the Government Solutions and Energy sectors.
