Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism IFS - Information Technology (IT) Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary A career in Information Security, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and support our internal security technologies and services across the entire global and local PwC network. You'll focus on being the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing information technology including hardware, software, and networks that enhance security of internal information and protect our firm's intellectual assets. Our team leads the information security strategy within PwC. The overall goals for the function include the identification, tracking and mitigation of risk, as well as offering in depth expertise to ensure credibility and confidence in the handling of client, firm, or employee data. We work closely with stakeholders to understand their business objectives to enable us to have full visibility into potential information security risks across our estate. Joining this team, you'll provide the customer centric perspective to enable PwC to deliver maximum value to the customer, the PwC Network of firms, and PwC's clients. This position ensures an effective firmwide Business Continuity Management (BCM) governance framework that is consistent with general regulatory requirements and industry best practices/standards is developed, maintained and adhered to across PwC in China, Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR, with responsibilities as below:- * Continuity Planning and Improvement - Identify improvements on the firm's business continuity plan, process, tools, documentations etc. It is to continuous upkeep to ensure it aligns with latest social, environmental, pandemic changes, which balance between practical adoption, investment and risks. * Administration and Maintenance - Coordinate routine updates to the detailed information supporting the Business Continuity Procedures (e.g. contact list, inventory etc.) and follow up to completion. Maintain, distribute and store the Business Continuity Plans and Procedures appropriately. Administering contracts and service agreements with Business Continuity service providers. * Training and Awareness - Ensure all personnel with specific Business Continuity responsibilities are adequately trained to fulfil their assigned responsibilities. Ensure all staff maintains their familiarity with the Firm's BC procedures. * Testing - Liaise and support regular crisis simulation, drill test, walkthrough and review of business continuity measures across business functions and locations. Ensure relevant components of the BC Plans are successfully tested, coordinate and follow-through where needed. Document and report on results. * BCP Certification - Provide relevant support on the preparation and in the process of acquiring ISO 22301 certification, e.g. understanding the requirement, prepare document and evidence, liaising with auditors and internal teams Requirements * Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent; * Hands-on experience on managing a sizable firm's business continuity framework; * In-depth understanding of business continuity management and governance frameworks; * Strong knowledge of business continuity best practices and protocols, operational risk management, and in-depth knowledge and expertise of the operations in an MNC / enterprise level, including IT practices; * Understanding of International BCM standards promoted by BCI and DR. and ISO; * Understand the delivery mechanisms and IT associated with each, and the technical and operations infrastructure; * Solid knowledge of IT and Operations Audit methodology; * Minimum three years of work experience in Information Technology service industry; * Highly presentable: * Excellent verbal communication * Effective presentation skills (presentations, reports, emails etc.): Able to articulate ideas and convey message in concise, simple and professional manner * Fluent English and Mandarin is a must; * Experience with communicating with leadership and executives is a definite advantage; * Candidate with less experience will be considered as business continuity coordinator.
