Our Immigration Services team oversees all elements of immigration support for secondments, new hires and international transfers into PwC, and assists our employees traveling internationally with understanding and meeting the immigration requirements of other countries. You'll be assisting the team with every aspect of international mobility such as temporary permit applications, citizenship and permanent residency applications, coordinated worldwide migration, immigration audits, and mobility policies. As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Technical Competencies: * Strong knowledge of the South African Immigration Act, Regulations and prevailing practice; * Compliance: assessment of applicable temporary and permanent residence categories and related compliance services (assessment and review of deliverables); * Consulting: writing opinions / providing advisory services aligned to client business models; and * Supply chain / outsourcing experience in a compliance environment. Case Management: * End to end case management incorporating assessment, initiation, review, monitoring and reporting on all cases under allocation against defined SLA / KPIs; * Point of contact for allocated clients; * Full reporting and financial recovery for client portfolio; and * Project management and proven ability to prioritise deliverables in challenging environments. Team Management * Management of consultants in a direct (present in local office), virtual (present in other South African offices) and outsource (present in Global offices) environment; * Review of consultants work; and * Providing guidance and support to consultants team with respect to process and compliance services. Key Knowledge & Experience * Analytical / strategic thinker; * Accuracy / attention to detail; * Proven project management experience; * Proven client relationship management; and * Compliance outsourcing experience.
