Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism VAT/GST Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary A career in our Indirect Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. Our team helps our clients optimise cash flow and reduce risk by managing challenges related to indirect taxes. You'll support our clients with all aspects of indirect taxation related to global, regional and domestic projects as well as comprehensive restructuring and reporting value added tax projects. Looking to broaden your horizons by creating cross-border trade solutions for top tier clients? Do you have experience in Customs or VAT and international trade? Our Indirect Tax Department is looking for: VAT Managers. In our Indirect Tax department you will deal with international and national indirect taxes, predominantly VAT and Customs duties, typically in cross border settings. Clients range from the largest multinationals to non- profit organisations, even public bodies and public private partnerships. Content wise your advice may relate to structuring and streamlining indirect taxes across the supply chain, optimising the indirect tax footprint and minimising tax leakages, up to litigation. Your role at a glance As a VAT Manager, you will: * Be part of a dynamic Indirect Tax team of 50 tax specialists where you will have the opportunity to tackle various Customs / (international) VAT queries for a variety of top-class multinational clients; * Be involved in the technical Customs/VAT analysis and development of client-oriented cross-border ideas and solutions; * Be in direct contact with international Customs/VAT colleagues all over the globe; Your skills & Expertise You have: * A university degree in Economics or Law, and preferably an additional postgraduate degree in taxation; * 2-8 years of experience in Customs/VAT; * a fluent knowledge of Dutch, French and English; * excellent organisation skills and you are able to meet (tight) deadlines; * developed a broad business-mindedness and you are a real team player; * a strong and positive leadership attitude combined with the ability to provide direction.
