Job Description

Job Background/context: The role will focus on the UK legal entities, predominantly CGML (Citigroup Global Markets Ltd), CBNA London (Citibank North America London Branch) and CUKL (Citibank UK Ltd). The primary focus of the role is to provide business analysis and requirements to execute prudential regulatory change projects, especially the CRR2 implementation impacting these entities. The role would require detailed interaction with the Regulatory reporting team, EMEA policy team, the Finance Project Management team and a variety of other functions within the organization including Technology, Risk, Treasury, the Markets businesses and the Budapest Citi Service Centre (CSC). The successful candidate will be the extensively involved in tracking and implementing change in line with the regulatory framework and change in internal infrastructure. The successful applicant will need to have a good understanding of the single EU rule book, the CRR and the CRR2. The candidate will also need to have change and business analysis experience, including the writing of technical business requirements in order to execute regulatory change projects. An understanding of SA-CCR and FRTB would be advantageous as would be the ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders. The successful applicant will need to be engaged in the assessment of the impact of these changes to the Businesses and the entity as a whole.The individual will be also assisting with the review of transactions/projects booked/implemented as part of a New Product Approval Committee Memos process impacting Local Regulatory Reporting. The key focus will be on the technical implementation aspects of the proposals.The successful candidate will be also assisting with the capital assessment of any migration/novation of positions from and to the entity as well as onboarding on new clients. Job Purpose: The role would involve the following with a primary focus project execution and delivery + Implementing change in line with key internal strategic objectives + Ensuring regulatory change and management observations are scoped out and appropriate change requests raised + Performing UAT and OAT for strategic implementation of regulatory change + Ensuring that the internal control environment, which includes Managers Control assessment, are updated to reflect any new controls that may be required + Extensive involvement with the EMEA policy team and acting as SME in relation new Regulatory requirements + Key Participant and Contributor to the internal project management processes Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following; + Execution, delivery of Business requirements for Regulatory change are provided + Ensuring that key internal strategic changes are captured and delivered + Reviewing of the impact of changes implemented as part of the NPAC process + Working with internal colleagues across the organisation to ensure best in class delivery for change implementation Knowledge/Experience: + Strong knowledge of CRR and CRR2 rules, relevant RTS/ITS and prudential regulatory reporting requirements. + Strong Finance professional with in depth knowledge of legal entity functions, processes, controls and reporting. + Business change experience + Prior knowledge of Citi legal entity processes would be an advantage. Skills: + Clear, analytical approach + Able to implement complex change + Ability to explain complex Finance issues to non Finance contacts + Ability to work well across regions and influence senior stakeholders + Strong organisational and presentation skills Qualifications: + A finance professional with 5+ years' experience of prudential regulatory reporting + Degree qualified + Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CFA or FRM would be an advantage. Competencies: + Knowledge of legal entity accounting and reporting preferred but not essential + Self-motivated and ability to work independently + Strong team player + Professional approach to work + Professional communication/interpersonal skills at all levels and across different functions.
