Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism IFS - Information Technology (IT) Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You'll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth. Our System Architecture team helps build customisable specific system solutions that enhance PwC's system capabilities to appropriately serve all client needs. As part of the team, you'll use enterprise architecture across application areas to build delivery models that map PwC capabilities to business needs outlined by clients. Responsibilities * Responsible for leading IT software applications delivery, planning and deployment * Leads day-to-day activities for delivery team whilst ensuring alignment to software delivery processes/best practices * Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements * Provide, enforces and sets out delivery/development standards for teams to follow * Experience in production system support, operations preparation & planning develop SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) * Conduct proof of concept on new technologies, research on automation and best practice methods * Work with development teams on release management from development and testing to deployment. * Go-live and steady state monitoring: management, monitoring and improvement of the implementation phase with clear timelines and quality check points to ensure client satisfaction and profitable execution Requirements * Minimum 5-8 years relevant experience in service delivery, and critical support environment * Software applications implementation and/or support experience * Strong operational process management and frameworks * Familiar with development methodologies such as SSDLC, Scrum, Agile * Working knowledge of: Jenkins, Dockers, Javascript, MongoDB, Elastic Search * Experience in DevOps or Azure Cloud environment is an advantage * Good interpersonal and communication skills with clients and colleagues (locally and overseas).
