Job Description

As the Renewal Specialist you will be the main points of contact for renewals within Ultima, both internally and externally! As part of the Vendor Alliances team you will own managing renewals and will work closely with the Sales team to ensure all renewals are quoted promptly. You will also act as an expert advisor to the Sales team as to the best way to capitalise on renewal opportunities. You will be the key contact between the sales team, various distributors and vendors, providing a proactive presales function including targeting upsells to maximise opportunities and revenue for the team. Renewals + You will oversee renewals, requesting proactive as well as reactive renewals, producing reports and updating sales so that they are aware of upcoming opportunities. + Boost any renewal incentives for the team where possible. + You will report any operational issues to the Vendor Strategy Manager to ensure the renewals process runs as smoothly as possible. + Establish and maintain strong working relationships with our distributors and vendors, working to ensure effective communication and organisation of the renewals process for Ultima. + Maintaining a database of renewal contacts to ensure the team can seek support from distributors and vendors where required Internal Support + You will support day to day ad-hoc requests from the sales team. This may include reports, pricing, pre and post sales queries. + You will need to develop (or have already) an understanding of the various product and pricing intricacies of each vendor, including promotions, strategic agreements, as well as being aware of Ultima upcoming events. + You will be a point of contact for IBR (Install Base / License Reports) requests and queries. + You will attend customer calls where required to support teams, as well as direct communication with customers. Deal Registrations - to be covered when necessary + Own the Deal Registration Mailbox, including logging new deal registrations and reminders / chasers for expiring registrations to the sales team. + Own the diary reminders to ensure expiring registrations that require re-logging do not lapse. + You will support the Vendor Alliance Managers by running reports for key vendor deals where applicable. + You will progress all open deal registrations to ensure we receive the applicable discounts and rebate incentive payments. + You will proactively work with the sales team on pipeline reviews to ensure timely updates. + Experience within the IT Sector and a sales environment is essential, within a renewal's role is preferred + An adaptable personality who can work within a fast-paced working environment. + A passionate, self-motivated and tenacious individual + An excellent communicator with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as driven to work on individual projects. + A flexible working attitude and be prepared to go the extra mile when required. + A commercially minded individual. + Highly organised, with the ability to successfully manage people and other teams in order to meet tight deadlines and complete several projects at once.
