Typical background and experience required: Must have: Part qualified CA or equivalent Experience of customer facing operations accounting Experience in dealing with multiple currencies and financial instruments Advanced Microsoft Excel Good understanding of management accounts Good analytical skills Nice to have: Oracle Applications or ERP experience Experience working in similar role Main accountabilities: Preparation of the OPS Accounts, and analysis against forecast and budget. Overview accounts prepared by the GL Accountant Quarterly interface with OPS Managers to review actuals vs. budget & forecast. Preparation of OPS forecast, explaining any variances from prior forecast & budget Adhoc Billing of personnel costs PO requests raised, and receipting of PO's for payment Man-day reporting & Analysis Preparation of OPs Budget and calculation of OPs Selling Rates Ensure relevant support is provided to budget holders. SOX Compliance & Controls adhered to and assist with testing of controls Ensure all main processes are documented and procedures and coding guides provided to and fully understood by budget holders. Updates / amendments as appropriate to keep aligned with the business. Ensure budget holders are provided in a timely manner with sufficient levels of visibility of financial data required to effectively manage their budgets.
