Production Planner * Operationally responsible for inventory management & allocation for Finished Goods. * Key point of contact for across functional teams within Baxter: Distribution, country logistics, country & supplier quality, regulatory affairs & marketing. * Communication with internal & external suppliers to procure products in line with regional objectives (service level, inventory targets, freight cost), ensure delivery of the products on-time & in full and organize country allocations * Drive new product launch & conversions for the portfolio where applicable. * Participate in process and system improvement for planning activity. * Be part of a team - offering support and back up for colleagues. * * Role Responsibilities * Ensure demand is in line with market trend, launch plans and LRP (long-range plan), supporting Plant operations planning and S&OP reviews. * Ensure all items required for product lifecycle (Launch/End of Life) are forecasted in partnership with CLA (Country Logistics Analyst) / Franchise forecast lead. * Clearly summarise regional demand plan, identify, and communicate risk. * Produce master production schedules. * Translate operational plan into financial inventory plan to feed EMEA cash flow planning and ensure achievement of plan. * Main point of contact for process improvement * Utilise pipeline management tool to control and analyse pipeline * Utilise experience to define solutions/recommendations to solve issues * Drive initiative to reduce the inventory pipeline and increase turns performance of the portfolio. * Proactively communicates supply risk to project team together with proposed solutions * Works with Supply Chain manager and countries in case of pipeline blockages to re-define priorities * Represents EMEA SC planning and deployment in regional and global multifunctional forums * Ensures Supply Chain KPI's are updated on time for regional and global scorecards Experience * Procurement planning: in-depth understanding of how to control inventory levels based on Re-Order Point/Lead Time/safety stock * Demand planning * Sales and operations planning * Strong leadership skills including leading projects with broad scope and impact outside own department & promotes teamwork between departments * Understanding of all aspects of the financial impact of supply chain activity including profitability, turns, service level & inventory control * Strong communication skills across all layers of the organization & ability to develop rapport with other functional & regional peers/leaders * Solutions driven with the ability to simplify the complex & drive speedy optimal business scenario planning & decision making * Innovative problem solver with the confidence to challenge the status quo & gain the buy in of stakeholders at all layers of the organization What we offer This is a challenging opportunity and a chance to work in a diverse team with a great mix of people across various countries in Europe and beyond.
