Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism IFS - Information Technology (IT) Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary A career in Information Security, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and support our internal security technologies and services across the entire global and local PwC network. You'll focus on being the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing information technology including hardware, software, and networks that enhance security of internal information and protect our firm's intellectual assets. Our Information Security Technology and Operations function identifies technology trends and opportunities to build, integrate, and operate technologies throughout the PwC environment. The goal of this team is to lead the development and operations of global enterprise solutions, platforms and technologies that enable PwC professionals to work more efficiently and more securely while delivering the highest level of service to clients. Job Description & Responsibilities Protect the confidentiality and integrity of client, staff, and business information in compliance with organization policies and standards. The individual will be responsible for review on system changes and respond to new security threats to internal networks and data. This individual must have the ability to establish working relationships with all staff and client on answering IT related security questions. Some, but not limited to, responsibilities may include: * Manage security projects and new security technologies implementation * Assist to plan, design and implement appropriate network technological solutions to defend cyber attack and intrusion * Providing consultations on enhancing data systems security and system changes on the production environment * Formulating security policies, procedures, and standards (such as system hardening standards) for configuration and set-up of network infrastructure for cyber security solutions * Preventing, detecting intrusion and responding to security incidents * Perform periodic reivew and audits (e.g. Firewall rule setting, physical security reivew on data center etc) * Perform Information security review and process assurance to upkeep the compliance of the firm Requirements * Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent; * Minimum four years of work experience in Information Technology service industry; * At least two years of demonstrable experience in any of the following will be an added advantage: Information Security, Infrastructure and network security review and analysis, Process review, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity and Audit; * Strong working experience with Security and Vulnerability Management, Security Incident Management and Investigation, Cybersecurity etc * Strong project management skills; * Ability to work independently and under pressure; * Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English; * Good command of spoken English and Chinese; and * Related qualifications and/or industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM is a must.
