The NVIDIA Retail team is helping retailers leverage the top AI use cases that will create the AI-enables Smart Retail. Our Retail team, driven by NVIDIA's leadership in AI and Accelerated computing, is growing rapidly and we are now looking for a Global Retail Business Development executive. What you'll be doing: Reporting to the EMEA VP of Sales and in a matrix to the Global IDB of Retail industries, you will be responsible for driving the EMEA revenue growth strategies for NVIDIA's Retail Industry solutions, in support of the overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy defined by the General Manager of the Retail vertical. This will include alignment and training of our OEMs and cloud partners on our Retail GTM strategy, to scale revenue through partners. It also includes defining and implementing the sales coverage model and assigning and achieving stretch sales revenue targets in collaboration with key regional sales leads. As a senior business development/sales leader, we would like to see demonstrated experience in building new product and/or industry revenues from scratch and achieving significant volume and scale. In this role, you will need to work in virtual teams - leveraging account managers, channel partners, datascientistssolution architects, and sales operations as well as industry business development, product management, product marketing and development teams to: * Build a robust opportunity pipeline and establish long-term business relationships and strategic relevance with selectedhigh-revenue/growth retail customers * Enable the matrixed team to deliver on the EMEA Retail revenue, including collaboration with regional VPs of sales for appropriate staffing to achieve global revenue objectives. * Partner with geography sales teams to drive demand and create and grow opportunities and accounts. You will need to codify the customer value proposition and mobilize the sales and partner teams by developing and executing the sales and partner training. * Create and develop sales operations process management, including opportunity management and forecasting * Build effective relationships with retail industry-specific partner channels including Microsoft, OEMs such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Fujitsu, and Panasonic. What we need to see: * Bachelor's degree minimum from a leading University. Master's degree and/or MBA is desirable * 15+ years of business development and sales experience in retail technology systems, embedded and/or software products. Experience managing an overlay sales organization is highly desirable. * Possess a global client contact base, deep domain expertise, and understanding of sales and buying practices in the retail industry * Track record of successfully growing revenue for new innovative retail industry solutions. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization * Business knowledge of the EMEA retail industry market dynamics * Knowledge of pricing strategies, channel economics, and negotiation tactics * Experience with leading alliancesand driving complex deal negotiations Regular review of sales opportunities and account business plans and manage the monthly revenue forecast * Collaborate & motivate a virtual team of sales managers (and help recruit the best talent) * Work with the General Manager/Global IBD of Retail and product management teams to ensure customer technical bottlenecks are addressed by the Retail Platform.
