8299BR Title: Model Based Systems Engineer Job Description: Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen within our customer team for highly motivated Systems Engineers with experience in requirements gathering, requirements capture and systems modelling using SysML, Rhapsody, Matlab and Simulink tools. Key Responsibility Areas Duties will include: + Requirements capture, design documentation, verification and validation. + Performance modelling; building physics-based models to test designs in silico. + Algorithm design and test for signal processing, tracking, control & image processing. + Data analysis; end-to-end system analysis using synthetic and 'real world' data. Qualifications: Minimum 2:1 in a STEM subject; Electrical Engineering, Physics and Maths preferred. Essential Skills/Knowledge: + Experience in modelling and simulation using Matlab/Simulink is required + Experience in MBSE activities such as modelling using SysML, UML, IBM Rational Rhapsody is required + Excellent communication skills: verbal and written. Intrinsic Job Factors This is an office based role using display screen equipment working full time hours. Some time will also be spent in Engineering Labs and Production Facilities. Occasional off-site visits to suppliers or customer premises & support of field trials. Requires full SC clearance (we will apply for it).
