Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Deals Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary Opportunity to join the Argentina Service Delivery Center team which is responsible for supporting Europe offices within PwC. We are seeking dynamic talent to help support our continually expanding organization. We are a diverse and collaborative team of experts The team youd be joining assists both Corporate and Private Equity clients in a wide range of reporting and accounting requirements/complexities driven by M&A activity. We help executives to process and present data in a deal situation while being both compliant with accounting / reporting regulations and deal relevant. As part of the transaction process, our team members develop a rapid understanding of the client's business in order to quickly identify and address the key reporting and accounting issues, risks and upsides around a transaction, preparing IFRS compliant financial statements and reviewing and commenting on financial statements. Essential skills and experiences: Minimum: Above average Great Point Average (GPA) bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing and 1-2 years work experience in audit or accounting advisory Solid knowledge of accounting / reporting (IFRS) Staying current and applying applicable technical accounting and financial reporting standards, supporting resolution of technical issues through effective analysis of accounting standards/issuesHigh degree of analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems Leveraging tools and techniques for research, analysis, and problem solving, including Interpreting data/research, drawing conclusions, and sharing derived perspectives Experience in preparing IFRS compliant financial statements and reviewing and commenting on financial statements Willingness to take ownership for tasks and have proven project management expertise Strong communication skills, verbal and written Ability to work independently on qualitative and quantitative analyses Team player who is able to engage in international teams Fluent in English, both verbal and written Advanced skills in MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Willingness to travel (join project teams in Europe), if necessary Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) English Travel Requirements Not Specified Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
