Territory Manager (Ben & Jerry's Team) Location: Field-based role covering Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and surrounding areas Contract duration: Temporary until December 2020 Salary: 19.5k pa pro rata, tax free lunch allowance, 20% plus performance-related bonus and company cure + fuel card We have a fantastic opportunity to join our field team representing Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream! This is your chance to work with one of the "coolest" brand names in the ice cream industry AND within a new high profile team in our business. Not a morning person? This isn't quite a standard "9-5" job; working hours are Monday to Friday, 12:00 - 20:00, as you will be calling on restaurants and takeaways, so it makes sense to be out and about when most restaurants are open. This role is fixed term until 24th December 2019, however, may become longer term. We also have a number of exciting opportunities within the business at any one time which you will be considered for, so this is a really good chance to show us what you are made of and get your foot in the McCurrach door! What will you be doing? Your main aim is to target restaurants and takeaways to increase brand presence of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream on their online menus (Just Eat/Uber Eats/Deliveroo etc.). You will be supported by a Telesales team, who will establish initial contact and set appointments for you where possible, but you will also be expected to cold call restaurants that we have been unable to establish contact with by phone. We will tell you where to call (via your call file) and give you full training on the products (hopefully with some ice cream tasting included as you need to know what you are talking about, right?!) Who we are looking for: + Previous direct sales experience, with a focus on business development/new accounts + Comfortable with cold-calling + Target-driven and skilled in overcoming objections + Must be happy with the working hours (Monday to Friday, 12:00 - 20:00) What's in it for you?
