Job Description
Warehouse Manager Chester £30-40k The Company We're currently representing a food manufacturing client based in the North West that is looking to recruit a new Warehouse Manager for the site. About the role With a direct team of 6 and a wider team of 30+, you be responsible for goods received and ensuring all product is despatched accurately whilst adhering to appropriate procedures, maximising customer service and minimising waste. You'll work as part of the senior team and will play a significant role in the smooth warehouse functions, working closely with site planning, manufacturing and external third parties to ensure the rigour of the supply chain for the site. Who are we looking for? You will be an experienced warehouse professional with experience of managing similar sized teams. In addition, you'll have proven experience of working within short shelf life food manufacturing and will be able to lean on your experience of running warehousing in such fast-paced food environments. The expectation is for candidates to have qualifications in IOSHH, Food Hygiene and a current holder of a Health and Safety certificate. Salary Details In return for meeting the criteria, the successful candidate can expect a salary of approx. £35,000 p/a.
