WhatsApp helps people connect and share no matter where they are in the world.WhatsApp is looking for an experienced Learning Business Partner to join the Global Onboarding team. This position will partner with multiple teams within WhatsApp to help evolve and execute on a strategy for how we develop and enable our global organization. This individual will work with teams within Engineering, Human Resources, Research, and key cross functional teams to ensure that we continuously align business priorities with the performance expectations of our teams and provide a path and curricula for building competence. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for WhatsApp and for developing teams to apply learning, thus enhancing performance. This position is full-time based in London. **Required Skills:** 1. Help to build and foster a positive experience for new WhatsApp employees in the London office by role modeling a positive outlook and perspective on team culture and business model 2. Manage and facilitate WhatsApp New Hire Orientation program (2x month) 3. Oversee WhatsApp London's New Hire Orientation speaker coordination and stakeholder communications 4. Work independently as sole representative of the Onboarding team in office, liaising with stakeholders in global offices 5. Conduct learning needs analysis to assess the state of the business and identify key performance and skills/knowledge gaps 6. Develop, design, implement, and evaluate onboarding programming for new employees 7. Engage with and build relationships with WhatsApp leaders and global cross-functional business partners to gain a deep understanding of current and emerging business goals and priorities to make informed, data-driven decisions 8. Architect innovative and agile learning solutions to help our global employees grow and thrive at WhatsApp 9. Define and document recommendations 10. present, gather feedback, and revise accordingly 11. Serve as an advocate for the learner by taking part in regular audience research to inform design and determine outcomes 12. reviewing learning data provided by the Learning Operations team 13. and applying actionable insights to potential learning and performance solutions 14. Develop and maintain a network of strategic relationships across key stakeholders through consistent consultation sessions on their learning needs 15. Indepently drive learning strategy for teams across WhatsApp 16. Proactively identify learning trends and opportunities, as well as anticipate future learning needs and translate those into actionable plans **Minimum Qualifications:** 17. BA/BS degree in Education, Communications, Instructional Design, or other related field 18. 4+ years working experience within Human Resources, Learning & Development, Onboarding, Employee Experience, etc. 19. Demonstrated understanding and execution of requirements to develop learning courses end-to-end (analysis all the way to post-training assessment) 20. Demonstrated experience using learning management systems (LMS), eLearning authoring software, and blended learning approaches 21. Demonstrated understanding of ADDIE principle, adult learning theories, and instructional design methodologies 22. Experience in learning project management and running strategic projects with global, cross-functional teams 23. Demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of audiences 24. Demonstrated ability to champion company culture 25. Demonstrated interest for emerging learning trends in the digital/media industry 26. Strategic mindset and experience developing global learning programs 27. Demonstrated ability for training in a virtual classroom environment and/or comfortable with public speaking and group facilitation 28. Organized and detailed-oriented 29. Demonstrate
