We're currently looking for a Registered Home Manager to join our Heathland Court care home in Wimbledon and develop the home to its full potential. Set in the prestigious town of Wimbledon, opposite Wimbledon and Putney Commons, Heathland Court care home is a 72-bed home that provides nursing, residential and dementia care. With a newly formed and enthusiastic management team, the home now requires an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead the way. It's an exciting time to join us; rated 'Good' by the CQC, the care home; a former grand stone private house is benefiting from an ongoing refurbishment programme and this opportunity has plenty of scope for the right person to truly make a difference. About the role As well as being able to lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team, we'll look to you to roll your sleeves up, where necessary, to provide outstanding, personalised care to our residents - getting to know your team and working alongside them as required. Always putting the needs and wellbeing of our residents first. You'll be managing all aspects of the home, identifying business opportunities whilst effectively managing budgets, taking responsibility for the operating profit of the home, and ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained across all relevant areas. But to do this, you'll be supported by a strong management team who'll act as your support network. Competent in creating and developing strong internal and external relationships, you'll play an important role in strengthening the Bupa brand as a trusted healthcare partner with key audiences including Local Authority and Primary Care Trust commissioners. For this role you will need to become registered with the regulator and, you also may occasionally be required to work out of hours or evenings.
