Job Description

We are a premier provider of supported living for those with various need. We specialise in supporting our service users to live a full and meaningful life. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our fantastic service and team in our 5-bed home, to support our service user's development in all areas of their lives. We support people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health and complex care needs by ensuring that options, independence and personal choice are key to our service user's success. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, dignity and provided the opportunity to progress in life. You will be responsible for ensuring our care delivers the highest level of care for our supported living services, you'll report directly to the area manager and be responsible for the staff within the service. We currently maintain a 'Good' rating with CQC and you'll be responsible for continuing that tradition! It goes without saying that you'll be very familiar with CQC expectations, as well as the Health and Social Care Act & the Mental Capacity Act. As you'll be responsible for a high number of service users, experience in domiciliary or supported living is essential, as is knowledge of complex and challenging behaviour that is found in those with Learning Disabilities and Mental health. We visit our services users in their own homes, working with each person to provide them with individual and specific goals, whether that be education, care plans or helping them integrate with the wider world. A huge part of what you'll do is be a friend to both our service users and your working team; you'll be someone that listens and genuinely cares. You'll get involved with helping people live they life they want live. Whether that's developing our service users or encouraging your team to progress, grow and improve in their roles. You'll build strong relationships with so you'll have a good sense of humour, patience, dedication and of course you care! You'll be independent, honest and determined to set a good example - the best leaders always do! Diplomacy is key, the need to be innovative and flexible in the face of new ideas and challenges is the mark of a strong manager. We're looking for someone that can work with the Regional Manager to help lead, develop and grow the business. As much as you'll help us look after our business, we'll look after you .
