They're looking for someone to join as an Ocean Import Account Manager in their Manchester offices. It is a very busy time for them and having just taken on board a number of apprentices it's now key for them to get someone on board who is experienced so they can take their time to train the newbies in all things freight! The Job: * You'll join as an Account Manager , managing key clients and selling import/freight services. * While you're based in Manchester , you'll sell to large global businesses. * As an account manager, you will manage your client's import operation from inception through to completion. * You will always be on the lookout for new business opportunities and will take a keen interest in market trends to keep abreast of the competition. * You should be comfortable working with many different clients and developing long-term relationships. * There are amazing support teams around you to help you in your job. * You'll get lots of training and development ! The Ideal Candidate: * You'll need to have worked as an Account Manager before. * You must have solid working knowledge of Ocean / Sea Freight - all things import * They're an ambitious business and are looking for like-minded employees! * It's important that you're a naturally positive and proactive person. * Manchester based.
