Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a permanent job? Have you ever worked with textile machinery before? Do you have PLC experience ? We're partnering with a long-standing client to find an experienced Group Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work across a number of sites in the group around North Manchester. You'll have previously worked in a manufacturing environment , in particular with machinery and robotics. You'll also have experience with programming and fault finding on PLC's. It would be fantastic if you had previously worked within textiles and worked with ATEX - if you have worked with CompEx that would be even better! About You * You'll have your own transport and be committed to working across various sites around Greater Manchester * A sound knowledge of A.C / D.C drives is essential * You should have at least 4 years in a similar role * City & Guilds 2391 (test and Inspection) is preferred * IPAF * PLC experience (Siemens ideally) * Mechanical experience would be helpful * CompEx and Atex / hazardous area experience would highly desirable * It is essential that you drive and have your own transport The Company * An impressive textile manufacturer. * They have excellent staff retention; we know this as we've worked with them for many years now and placed lots of people within this business.
