Salary: £17,017 - £17,717 depending on experience Industry: Childcare Sector: Nursery Job ID: 32192 Are you a fantastic, vibrant and positive character with experience in Childcare......? .....if so, we are looking for experienced Early Years Practitioners within the Poole area to join an excellent nursery team and to work alongside the management team to deliver exceptional childcare and to build secure foundations for lifelong learning. With a number of long standing staff, this nursery prides itself on the exceptional level of quality care it provides for young children. In a busy purpose built nursey with excellent facilities, an environment of fun and enjoyment is created allowing career development and job satisfaction. Positions available: 30 hrs per week Level term time only What are we looking for? Someone looking for a challenging and rewarding career in child care who is an experienced Early Years Practitioner, to be considered for the role you must have a Level 3 qualification and good knowledge of the EYFS, observations and tracking but someone who is newly qualified or with a Level 2 qualification and interested in advancement in child care, will also be considered on the basis they are prepared to upskill to Level 3 . In addition, you must possess the following key skills and experience: * Excellent communication skills * Desire to help children develop and grow to achieve their full potential * Sense of humour * Enthusiasm and patience * An attentive and compassionate nature * Knowledge of the EYFS As an EY Practitioner your role will consist of: * Developing and maintaining professional relationships with parents and carers * Supporting children with their individual personal hygiene needs * Providing effective and regular feedback to parents on their child's day, personal development and any other relevant information * Ensuring a bright and stimulating attractive room with colourful appropriate activities and displays showing children's work * Assisting with care, maintenance and security of all equipment and toys within the nursery * Supervising children at all times indoors and outdoors including mealtimes and snack breaks Benefits and Opportunities * Excellent Training and Development opportunities * Extensive benefits including: Discounted childcare Time off for attendance consistency plus other time off incentives Paid overtime Qualification incentives......plus more!
