As a member of sales team in UK & Ireland for this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of AWS service category that will have a significant impact on our customer's adoption of AWS. As part of a single-threaded team focusing on analytics and data services ( ElasticSearch, CloudSearch, EMR, Kinesis, Glue, Redshift, Athena, QuickSight), you will be responsible for working with enterprise, midmarket, and startup customers and their existing account representatives to qualify opportunities for data and BI workloads. You will engage with our Solution Architects, Partner, and Marketing organizations to drive opportunities to closure at a large scale. Your commitments will include driving platform adoption, running programs, and ensuring success at scale. The ideal candidate will possess a Technology Sales with engagements at the CXO level. They should also be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute a geographic plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. Roles & Responsibilities: Drive revenue and market share for AWS Analytics and Big Data services in a defined territory or industry vertical. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS Analytics and Big Data solutions Manage the end to end commercial process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Executives and Partners etc... Accelerate customer adoption of services such Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Athena, Redshift, Kinesis, Quicksight, etc... Manage and maintain a robust and accurate pipeline and forecast Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts Work closely with the HQ product team to communicate requirements for the defined territory
