Job Description

Staff Nurse - Acute Floor and Medical/Elderly wards. Due to the high flow and fast paced environment we require individuals who enjoy working at a fast pace and have excellent communication skills. The Acute floor is a 46 bedded acute admissions and short stay unit with 22 dedicated frailty beds which are supported by the frailty team /ANP and access to a large MDT. Previous experience within MAU or acute medical care would be beneficial but we are willing to train the right candidate. You will have exposure to telemetry, NIV and optiflow however full training will be given by our dedicated team of clinical educators. We encourage and support our staff to further their careers by offering development sister roles. You will have experience of dealing with acute injuries/illnesses with a proven professional background. You will be committed to providing high quality care to a range of patients with differing needs and be willing to embrace new role opportunities and expand your role as the service develops. You will be a dynamic and highly motivated individual and have flexibility to be able to work within a busy and demanding environment.
