Job Description
Our client is a specialist in the manufacture, design, installation, repair and maintenance in lifts and escalators with branches ideally situated throughout the UK. They're looking for a Lift Service Engineer from their London Branch to cover a local service route in the South London area. The role for the Lift Service Engineer will involve:- * Maintenance, servicing and small repairs of traction and hydraulic MRL lift equipment. * Working as part of a small two man team on occasion for the purpose of carrying out repair works. * Working independently while covering a service route in South London. * Taking part in the out of hours call-out rota, on a 1 day in 12 basis. The successful candidate for this role will have:- * An NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering. * Experience in a similar role with at least 3 years' experience in the industry. * Strong fault finding skills on traction and hydraulic lift equipment. * A full UK driving license. This role offers an excellent remuneration package, including:- * A basic salary of up to £35,000. * Door to door travel time throughout your local area. * Excellent standby and call-out fees. * A call-out rota of only 1 day in 12. * 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. * Excellent progression plan and internal training courses available.
