Site Service Engineer
Overview
Job Description
LRL are recruiting for an experienced Site Service Engineer to join a leading provider of engineering solutions, to the heavy industrial rotating plant and equipment sectors. This includes sections such as Water Treatment, FMCG, Manufacturing, Production, Petrochemical, Mining and Quarrying. Main Duties Include: * Working on a field basis, attending customer sites to investigate to major and minor Electromechanical faults or breakdowns. * Carrying out minor repair and replacement of various components on Heavy Plant Equipment such as Motors, Pumps, Fans, Valves, Gearboxes and Rewinds. * Attending major repairs, to perform machine relocation from client site to workshop for major repairs or replacement to be installed. * Isolating, Tagging and/or Match Marking various Plant and Machinery ready for repair or relocation. * During relocation; Lifting, Slinging and loading of heavy plant equipment onto Flat Bed Lorry using HIAB, ready for Transportation to workshop. * Working within a safe manner, compliant with current H&S Regulations. Qualifications Required: * An industry applicable City&Guilds, HNC, NVQ or equivalent in either Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical bias. * Any other additional Mechanical/Electrical/Electromechanical Cards or Certifications. Desirable, however not essential: * IPAF Licence * Rigging and Slinging Certificate * National Water Hygiene Card (Blue Card) Package: * £ - Negotiable rate, depending on skills and experience * 25 days holiday, plus 8 statutory bank holidays. * Company Pension Contribution scheme of up to 5% * Plenty of Overtime and Overtime Rates: * Overtime Mon - Fri: First 4 hours = Time and a Half * Overtime Mon - Fri: Over 4 hours = Double Time * Saturday, All Day = Time and a Half * Sunday, All Day = Double Time * Use of company vehicles when applicable * Paid Travel Time to and from Customer Sites. * Cycle to Work Schemes For more information on this and other unadvertised roles please contact us or submit CV for consideration.
