Quantity Surveyor

A leading Construction and civil engineering main contractor is actively seeking an Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position initially on a project in Stonehaven. Our client: * Our client is a contractor who has been operating for over 50 years across the UK and Ireland, working across a number of Joint Ventures, Public-Private Partnerships and alternative forms of contract on well-known and celebrated projects; * Well-respected and successful, our client has secured a substantial contract and are looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join their team; * This is an excellent opportunity to join a company which has been steadily growing since their inception, and with scope for work for years to come. What you'll be doing: * The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including performing risk, value management and cost control; * You will perform cost analysis, seek funding options and prepare final accounts for submission; * Working on civil engineering and marine projects, you will also be responsible for managing costs from inception to completion to minimise cost and maximising value for money with the support of a senior commercial team around you. What you'll need to be successful: * The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, with at least an HNC in Quantity Surveying; * Experience in civil engineering will be essential; * At least 3+ year post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying..
