Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Technician to undertake Electrical maintenance / installation work efficiently and in accordance with the National working rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry, the current IET wiring regulations for the requirements of Electrical Installations and the Construction Industry safety regulations. The Mobile Electrical Technician will be working on our contract providing Mechanical, Electrical and building fabric maintenance for South Eastern Railway to their network of train stations. The Mobile Electrical Technician will provide electrical maintenance to stations within the London / Metro / South East London area into Kent with occasional support across to Sussex. The ideal location of the successful candidate will be the Bexley / Dartford area. The successful candidate will require a UK Driving License as a company van is provided. Working hours are 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday with a call-out rota of 1 in 5 weeks Responsibilities You will: * Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey health and safety systems and procedures. * Provide excellent service delivery by ensuring PPM tasks and reactive works are completed within contractual Service Level Agreement's to meet KPI's. * Maintain premises to an exceptionally high standards through a proactive service delivery methodology * Develop excellent working relationships with our client their staff or appointed representative through good customer service. * Ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audit either by internal or external parties. * Utilise the clients CAFM system so that accurate information is provide related to our service provision * Demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery of all work. * Carry out Electrical Maintenance / Installation work efficiently and in accordance with the National Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry, the current IET Wiring Regulations for the Requirements of Electrical Installations BS7671, and the Construction Industry Safety Regulations Requirements You will have: * Practical experience carrying out PPM's and undertaking routine Electrical Repairs and Maintenance in line with SFG20 or equivalent with basic fault finding diagnostic experience. * Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential) * City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 OR equivalent * City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition * Personal Track Safety - PTS (Desirable) * IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable) * Safe system of Work Procedure - PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable) * L8 Training (Desirable) About Us We are one of the leading independent engineering and services businesses in the UK.
