Job Description
.NET Developer/Core .NET Financial Services Birmingham Up to £49,000 per annum + Bonus & Excellent Benefits Digital Skills are working with a high-profile Financial Services client, based in Birmingham. The client are undergoing a significant transformation in both working practices and technology and are expanding their technology team. As part of the expansion, the client requires a .NET developer to work on core .Net. You will be responsible for writing efficient, stable, code to a high standard; as part of an agile, full-stack development team. You will be responsible for all aspects of ongoing development, from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. Responsibilities: * Writing efficient, stable, testable, secure and reusable Core .Net * Working with the latest .NET Core technologies * Following industry best practices such as effective source control, code reviews, daily builds, and automated deployments, within an agile culture * Contributing in all phases of the development life cycle Requirements: * Several years of experience engineering enterprise services in multiple industries in .NET Core * Experience in JSON * Experience in XML * Exposure to XSTL * Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud would be beneficial * Experience of working in a team with a DevOps/agile delivery methodologies The role will be to work as part of a busy team, you will be developing systems, enhancing software and helping to integrate applications for one of the largest and most high profile Financial Service companies in Europe. This role is very much suited to a Developer with circa 2 years of commercial experience and a desire to grow and develop their career with the latest technologies. As part of their training, the client will also look to develop your skills in automation, CI/CD and cloud.
