We are looking for a passionate and talented Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will be getting your hands dirty using and securing AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Kafka and similar technologies in this space. The role will involve collaborative and close working with our DevOps function and broader engineering, acting as an SME for security aspects of our public cloud infrastructure. Have you got what it takes? * Working closely with DevOps to embed security practices and tooling into build processes, this * means working together in a hands-on capacity to reduce security risk * Continuously improving security controls within existing DevOps tooling and processes * Configuration of security tooling for visibility and control such as Twistlock, Dome9 and * Tenable.IO * Enabling us to move faster by providing solutions to common occurring security issues be that * through commercial, open source or in house written solutions * Working with the broader security function to detect and remediate misconfiguration within our * cloud environments * Design alongside our other Security Engineers, incident detection and response plans specific to * our cloud environments You will have: * Strong hands on experience of AWS and its associated technologies * Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and technologies * Skills to script and automate solutions * Some knowledge of incident response within cloud * Cloud or Security certifications such as AWS Certified Security Speciality, AWS Certified DevOps * Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCSP, CISSP etc. * 4+ years in a similar role You will be someone who: * Has a passion for technology, getting hands on and problem solving * Loves collaborative working and communication * Is able to produce pragmatic, programmatic (where possible) forward thinking security controls * Has a passion for automation and continuous learning * Loves working with autonomy at pace What's in it for you... * Life assurance of 3 times your salary, should the worst happen * Pension scheme offering 8% matched contributions * Private medical and dental care plans * 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 28 after 3 years * Free breakfast and fruit every day Oh and of course we'll pay you every month, at a competitive rate.
