This is infectious and creates a wonderful office atmosphere. Role Overview Our VP Operations is looking for a Business Operations Executive to join the team. Operations is the foundation of any organisation. Without well-built and resilient operations, a business will constantly need sticks and glue to keep it up right. The Business Operations Executive will assist in continuing to deliver efficient ways of doing things and in turn creating a great experience for clients and partners as well as an enjoyable environment for employees. This role will be quite broad, covering people, sales, compliance and financial operations. Our successful candidate will be someone who is eager to learn, has a logical mind and is curious about data. The role requires someone with a roll-the-sleeves-up attitude, who enjoys overcoming challenges and is a naturally talented verbal and written communicator. This position has the opportunity to kick-start a fulfilling career in the world of tech and the chance to work with bright minds and lovely characters. Requirements Responsibilities * Assist the Finance Manager with financial operational tasks including payroll, expenses, authorising payments, reporting and the invoicing of clients * Assist VP Operations with managing business risks and preparing presentations to report risks and solutions back to senior management * Help VP Operations implement new systems and procedures to minimise risk and manual error, including helping to administer Salesforce CRM * Help VP Operations in keeping internal documentation up to date with the latest processes and procedures * Assist VP Operations with people operational tasks including the writing and advertisement of new roles, sourcing potential candidates from LinkedIn, the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, creating employee experiences and well-being practices and enhancing our values across the organisation * Assist the Marketing Manager with the development of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme * Assist VP Operations with managing the office facilities * Assist with supplier management, working with the legal and financial departments on reporting of upcoming renewals Desired Behaviour & Competence * Great teamwork and collaboration is key * Is interpersonal with skilful verbal and written communication in English * Remains calm under pressure * Inquisitive about data and using it to solve problems * Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload * A genuine interest in technology * A competent user of excel and/or google sheets * Is detail driven Benefits Apart from the opportunity to work for a tech scale-up, having great responsibility and varied tasks every day, other benefits include the opportunity to join APEXX pension scheme with Scottish Widows, 600 yearly learning and development budget and access to thousands of perks through Perkbox (discounted tickets, restaurants and shopping etc).
