Job Description
Solution Architect Birmingham £60,000 - £75,000 + 20% bonus and 12% car allowance Digital Skills are working in conjunction with a leading Financial Services client, based in Birmingham. As the Solution Architect, you will be joining a rapidly expanding and exciting part of the business that is going through a huge transformation. Their overall mission is to grow their market share by expanding their product range and finding new ways in which their customers can purchase and interact with them. The successful Solution Architect will provide technical architecture governance, ensuring that the IT Solutions support the ongoing objectives. You will also work with various business units to implement a robust architecture and IT solutions that meet the agreed standards and principles. Skills & Experience * Able to work closely with the Enterprise Architect team and Input into their architecture blueprints, roadmaps and communicate these where appropriate * Experience of managing project architecture risks and issues * Either TOGAF certified or have a similar architecture framework certification. * Ideally, you will have a background of working in either Windows or Linux environments and be certified in one of them. * Cloud project experience (AWS or Azure) * Background in mid-tier Java platforms (JEE, WebSphere Application Server). * Application integration experience with multiple platforms and data sources (Mainframe, mid-range, SOA, ESB technologies). * Exposure to Portal / User Experience Platform (UXP) technologies. * IT security (e.g. WS-Security; OWASP).
