Job Description

IFA/Wealth Manager - London Our client is an established Wealth Management firm and has been growing since its formation in 2013. Due to continual success they now have a substantial client base and are looking to bring the right aspirational IFA/Wealth Manager into the team to offer these clients excellent service and to stimulate the already well-established relationships within an RDR compliant environment. We would expect the successful candidate to have the drive and motivation to expand the Practice's network by sourcing new clients and developing introductions via professional connections. Advisers will also be aided with meeting opportunities by our Business Development Executive. An experienced support infrastructure is in place to assist with appointment making, meeting preparation and business submission. We also expect Advisers to undertake certain back office functions. Responsibilities: * Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises * Conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims. * Analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements. * Completing risk analysis. * Providing clients with information on new and existing products and services; Designing financial strategies. * Assisting clients to make informed decisions. * Researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products for panel business. * Reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances. * Liaising with head office and financial services providers and other professionals, such as solicitors. * Keeping up to date with financial products, Fund Managers, legislation and changes etc as well as maintaining their professional & technical knowledge through professional exams and CPD record. * Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and the advised products. * Attend weekly team meetings. * Participate in monthly marketing meetings and strategies for business development. Requirements: * Level 4 qualified * Competent Adviser Status (CAS) * Previous holistic advice experience required * Use of Financial Analytics, Voyant and other software * Chartered or working towards Chartered. If Adviser is not working towards Chartered Status this will commence once they join the Practice. Package: The client is open to discussing both employed and self-employed packages. Employed salary to £40k plus Bonus, further development (Chartered status) and on-going CPD. A strong lead source.
