Job Description
What are we looking for? Due to a crucial new project within our organisation, we have a fantastic opportunity for a strong and motivated Quality Technician to join our manufacturing site in Motherwell immediately on an 18-month fixed term contract. As a Quality Technician , you will be responsible for working across multiple teams to ensure quality is being maintained in all factors of production. Key Responsibilities: * Analyse external/internal issues, propose and implement corrective and preventive actions * Deploy change management, ensure that any changes are compliance with product requirements/specification * Deploy and drive red tables, RPS. Ensure that NC material is separated/identified. Analyse issues and established CAPA. * Prepare and submit quality KPIs - e.g. FPY. Establish/drive RPS for issues. * Materials and quality samples validation * Perform BIQ, process, product audits and ensure that findigns are closed * Manage/update control plans and quality documentations, ensure that PFMEA is on place and up-to-date * Perform incoming inspection * Take care about golden samples * Update failure catalog and ensure that quality defects are known and controlled properly * Cooperate/support operators/team leaders related to solving of any quality issues
