Job Description
DEVELOPER - £80K - LONDON COMPANY OVERVIEW: We are an investment management firm with over $1bn assets under management in numerous funds. We are looking for an Operations Infrastructure Developer, who's primary coding language is python. You will help maintain and build our operations infrastructure. Our infrastructure involves a commercial portfolio management system (PMS) and a data-warehouse, a key part of this roll will be working with the ancillary systems that consume data from the PMS and data-warehouse. . KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: *At least 5 year's experience in the investment management industry *Ability to build solutions to data and automation problems from scratch, with no pre-existing template to follow. *Ability to understand python code written by others and maintain and expand that code. *Ability to build solutions that extract data from a system, transform data and load into a disparate system. *Ability to code up solutions alone without needing daily oversight. *Must be comfortable supporting solutions that are required to successfully run every day. *Domain knowledge of ledgers containing investment transactions necessary *Domain knowledge of ledgers containing accounting transactions advantageous KEY SKILLS REQUIRED *SQL *Infrastructure *Python (ESSENTIAL) *Advantageous technical competencies: *MS SQL Server Stack SSIS / SSRS / SSAS *Azure DevOps *Advantageous financial instrument knowledge *Interest rate derivatives *Equity and resultant corporate actions *FX derivatives *Fixed Income To ensure you understand how we process your data please take the time to review our Privacy Policy at
