Support Workers Needed For Children With Learning Disabilities
Overview
Job Description
The role will involve working directly with children and young people in a residential setting, many of whom have learning or physical disabilities and challenging behaviours. As a residential support worker you will provide support on many levels, whether that's emotional support or personal care. Your ability to bond with and find out the needs and views of the children is important because you'll help to create and develop personal care plans. This position will suit people who are naturally curious and can develop relationships, recognise individual needs, and adapt themselves to a changing work environment. You need to be able to commit to 30 hours a week as a minimum. The role is for people looking for long term employment. If this sounds like you, and you'd like to apply, please send me your CV and I'll be in touch to discuss the role further.
