About us: Maven is a proprietary trading organisation formed in 2011. The role: Maven is looking for outstanding recent graduates or students in their final year of study to join our Finance team. Maven's Finance function is a small, closely-knit team, that supports the operations of the Maven group globally. As a Maven Graduate you will complete an intensive training program in accounting and finance. You will rotate through a series of roles with a view to understanding every aspect of the finance function: management accounting, statutory reporting, operational finance, regulatory reporting and treasury. We aim to provide you with a solid training in the fundamentals of accounting and finance in year one. You will build on this foundation in years two and three and have exposure to the global business from day one allowing you to make an impact as soon as you are ready. In addition to your training at Maven we will sponsor you to become ACA/CTA qualified giving you time off to complete your studies during the week. You will also receive mentorship and coaching throughout the graduate program to set you up for success. Candidate specifications: We are looking for applicants from any degree background with an analytical mind and an interest in financial markets. Requirements for eligible candidates: * Ambitious self-starter * Strong communication skills * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure * Good interpersonal skills for dealing with employees and other teams * A bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (minimum 2.1)
