SUPPORT MANAGER TRADING FIRM UP TO 70k + BONUS & BENEFITS LONDON My client are a high calibre commodities trading company based in the city of London with a brand new requirement for an Infrastructure/Support Manager. The manager will be responsible for managing the IT Support for desktop, server, network, telephony, electronic trading & market data applications. This role with assist and report to the Head of IT. Responsibilities: * Management of IT Support and IT Support services globally. * Ensuring that vendors and contractors engaged by the business work effectively and to the agreed * plan, timescales and budget. * Work with and maintain all network, telecommunications and servers. * Support ticket escalation where appropriate and ensuring ticket closures in a timely manner. * Provision of statistical reports for IT Support. * Ensuring that corporate IT Policy guidelines are adhered to at all times. * Assistance with development of procedures relating to J-SOX and other regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance to same. * Providing Support Desk cover/backfill when necessary. * Ensuring all relevant IT Support documentation is up to date. * Management of Jira Support Desk software. Specification: This role will have a huge interaction with all staff, vendors and clients so the right person for this position will be able to work well under pressure in a critical environment with positivity, enthusiasm and in an organised fashion. * Managerial experience and ability to lead and develop the team * Procurement & vendor management including managing licensing and contracts. * Good understanding of Investment Bank related technology. * Electronic trading and market data applications. * Good understanding of Microsoft desktop and server technologies. E.g. Windows 10, Office, Skype, Active Directory, etc. * Able to work discreetly, to strict deadlines and able to maintain confidentiality. * Able to work with minimum supervision, good organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Project lead and/or management experience. * Ability to develop and implement new processes, procedures & Service Level Agreements. * Understanding of ITIL processes.
