Food Process Technologist Frome £32,000 to £35,000 DOE + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Generous Pension Scheme + Sick Pay + Benefits DAYS BASED ROLE Food Process Technologist required for a large manufacturer who operate on a global scale. Their products are well recognised household brands. They have experienced significant growth in the last few years. They offer a stable opportunity and a varied role within a good work environment. The role would suit applicants from a food science or food technology background. The company will accept candidates with hands on experience within a food manufacturing environment or more junior applicants who have recently graduated in a relevant discipline with a placement years' experience or similar. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of HACCP and BRC regulations as a minimum. The role is varied and will involve working alongside the engineering and production teams to ensure product quality and process efficiency is maximised. You will be responsible for identifying factory gaps in relation to product packaging and ingredients and suggesting/implementing improvements as necessary. Within your role, you will responsible for change management/communication which will include creating SOPs, training other departments on implemented changes and ensuring that changes are adhered to.
