Start here Catalent Pharma Solutions are looking for a focused and experiencedAccountant to join our Clinical Supply Services (CSS) finance organisation in an accounting capacity. As an Accountant The aim of the Accountant role is to ensure the Bathgate site operates within sound financial control environment with robust financial processes and procedures. The key focus will be to improve the end to end financial processes, controls, systems and management reporting capability which the role holder will be expected to drive efficiency improvements within the finance function and the wider business.. The Role: * Prepare, analyse and review all transactions impacting the Site P&L, including calculation of accruals and prepayments at month-end close * Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations. * Preparation of Management reports and compare to Site Budget. This includes Sales analysis, departmental base cost and headcount reports * Fixed Assets and capital Expenditure * Prepare Inter-Company Reconciliations * Tax and legal reporting including corporate governance * Preparation on Monthly, Quarterly and annual Corporate reporting packages * Partner SSC in the preparation of AP * Support/liaise with Internal and External auditors * Support in the preparation of Site Budgets * Provide support/cover for other team members during busy/holiday periods example cost rolls * Involvement in adhoc projects as required The Candidate * QBE or part qualified, accountant * Sound knowledge of UK VAT legalisation * Strong IT skills in Excel and preferably JDE * Team player with strong influencing and interpersonal skills * Proactive self-motivated approach * Strong analytical skills * High level of integrity * Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work in order to meet timetables and deadlines * Results orientated * Office based Our 7 standard leadership competencies * Leads with Integrity and Respect * Delivers Results * Demonstrates Business Acumen * Fosters Collaboration and Teamwork * Champions Change * Engages and Inspires * Coaches and Develops Position Benefits * Annual Salary * Pension * Life Assurance * Bupa Healthcare Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career!
