Five (5) years’ experience in Government Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
· Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, including setting timelines, coordinating with departments, and consolidating budgets for senior management review.
· Forecasting: Prepare and update financial forecasts to reflect current business conditions and strategic plans.
· Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly variance analysis to compare actual results against budget and forecasts, providing explanations for variances.
Management Reporting
• Monthly Reporting: Prepare detailed management accounts and financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• KPI Tracking: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial and operational performance.
