Urology Consultant

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust Consultant in Urology Applications are invited for this Royal College approved Consultant Urologist post, with a specialist interest in Urology Oncology. To be based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Peterborough City Hospital. This is a 10PA whole time post plus a 1 in 8 on call. The North West Anglia Foundation Trust serves a population of over 750,000 over 3 sites at Hinchingbrooke, Peterborough and Stamford. The urology service currently comprises of 9 consultants, 8 middle grade doctors, and a strong team of specialist nurses. In-patients are admitted primarily to Peterborough City Hospital, and day cases to all sites. The successful candidate would be expected to take part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Peterborough is a well-served modern expanding city with excellent connections, a 50 minute rail service to London and is surrounded by an active rural countryside with attractive villages. Applicants must be included on the Specialist Register for Urology or be within six months of achieving the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at the time of interview for the post and need to be licensed and registered to practice with the GMC.
