Job Description
What we are looking for We are on the look out for a well organised and professional General Manager who can demonstrate success on both an Operational and commercial level in the Oil ad Gas market. If you can lead by example, get the very best out of the team and have a constant desire to drive the business forward then this is the role for you. What we offer On offer there is a very competitive salary along with 20% annual bonus, car allowance, healthcare option for the family and 33 days holiday. What we need from you to take things forward * Solid experience within the Oil & Gas Industry. Experience within decontamination / decommissioning activity is an advantage. * Good knowledge and understanding of offshore subsea oil and gas production systems is desirable. * Knowledge of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) within oil & gas production systems is preferred. * A basic understanding of onshore waste management and environmental legislation. * Computer literate - CRM, SAP, Excel, Powerpoint * Ability to work under specified and agreed time constraints. * Engineering Degree preferred or relevant Industry Experience. * Good knowledge of different business functions. * Strong leadership qualities. * Excellent communication skills. * Highly organised. * Strong work ethic. * Good interpersonal skills. * Meticulous attention to detail. * Proactive nature * Self-motivated and results-driven A brief overview of what the role entails To direct and manage the Scotoil corporate activity and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs. This will be done through: * Allocating budget resources * Formulating policies * Coordinating business operations * Monitoring and motivating staff * Managing operational costs * Ensuring good customer service * Improving administration processes * Engaging with vendors * Hiring and training employees * Identifying business opportunities * Monitoring financial activities.
