To support our ambitious growth, we are looking for commercially astute ambitious individuals that can bring fresh and innovative thinking to THG and play a part in driving the Group forward on its truly exciting journey. The group is now looking to hire a Head of Social Media to join one of our biggest and most successful divisions. This high profile position would place you a the forefront of setting Social Media strategies for the brand, anticipating and predicting future social trends and building loyal social communities to drive revenue and brand growth. This not your average Social Media role and requires a true social pioneer. About the Role: The The Head of Social Media is responsible for developing and leading the activation of the social media strategy. You will be the key contact for all things social. You will develop a social engagement strategy for all social media channels globally to build communities, considering business and brand objectives and overseeing social's implementation across regions. Working closely with digital collegues you will develop content strategies that meet key objectives. You will also work closely with paid media and influencer marketing programs to maximise exposure with the right audience, aimed at building brand engagement, followers and reinforcing brand positioning. Key responsibilities will include: Overseeing social media content strategy and execution across global social media platforms, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, SnapChat, TikTok, etc. Ensuring proper amplification of key brand messages globally through use of organic social media Articulating content strategy to brand & creative teams and work in partnership on the development of content for the various social media platforms Creating and maintaining a monthly social media calendar for each platform, leveraging brand marketing calendar and pop culture occasions to maximise relevance of storytelling to drive engagement, reach, and follower growth Coordinating calendar and content with brand teams to execute plans in alignment with global and local objectives/audiences Overseeing briefing of social media copy, usage of hashtags, and alignment with brand tone of voice Overseeing the execution of social community management and dialogue moderation Monitoring and reporting client inquiries received through social media with customer service Maintaining a direct relationship with social media platforms' representatives Managing the social media budget to maximise ROI and achieve business plans Regular reporting and campaign analysis Defining framework and oversee social media listening and audience audits Requirements Strong experience and expertise in social media strategy and execution for large, well known brands. Agency or in-house experience Proven ability to deliver consistently strong measurable results Creative flair - the ability to do things that haven't been done before, pioneering social media strategy for the brands Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities, ability to develop strong trust-based relationships and manage effectively A passion for the world of beauty, health and online retail!
