Job Description
Database Officer - Maternity Cover Job title: Database Officer (Maternity Cover) Contract type: 12 month contract, Full-time (37 hours per week) - part time considered. Salary: circa 20 - 24k (depending on experience) Do you want to join an exciting and expanding organisation and help to end factory farming? For over 50 years Compassion in World Farming International has been campaigning to create a world where all farm animals are treated with compassion and respect. To help achieve this goal, Compassion has expanded into Europe and beyond, with offices now in France, Italy, Poland, Netherlands and USA, with additional representatives elsewhere. We are looking for someone to provide maternity cover for the Database Officer role within the CRM team. This role provides key support for all of our offices in their use of our Salesforce CRM system, through importing donations, creating mailing files for fundraising activities, carrying out regular data hygiene routines and providing support for all users of the system. You should have experience of using databases and be confident in the updating and manipulation of data. Ideally, you will have experience of producing queries , creating mailing files and carrying out data imports . The ability to learn new processes and an understanding of the necessity for data hygiene and ensuring the accuracy of data held is essential, alongside a desire to learn new skills and build your knowledge of database systems. Previous knowledge of working with Salesforce or similar system within a fundraising team would be advantageous but not essential. Why work for Compassion in World Farming? We occupy modern, bright open plan offices just two minutes walk from Godalming station Due to the current Covid-19 situation, interviews may take place via video link and the successful candidate may be required to be home based initially before moving to be based primarily at the Compassion in World Farming international headquarters in Godalming, Surrey.
